I am a registered
psychologist with specialist training in psychotherapy. I
graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1970
with my Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and went on to
complete my Graduate Diploma of Education in 1973 and my Graduate
Diploma of Psychology (Counselling) at the Western Australian
Institute of Technology (Curtin University) in 1984. I then
completed an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy at the Churchill
Clinic in 2002.
I take a caring, holistic approach to assisting clients with
their personal challenges and provide a safe, non-judgemental
environment for clients that enables them to reach their full
potential.
| Through my studies and employment experiences,
I have developed a deepening interest in: |
- states of being that cast a shadow
upon our lives - depression, anxiety and the experiences
of infertility, grief and loss
- present effects of past experiences,
such as growing up with an alcoholic or abusive parent
- creating healthy relationships
|
I encourage clients with these and any other personal or
behavioural issues to make an appointment so I can assist
you to reach a point of healing and understanding.
As a member of the Australian Psychological Society, I am bound by the Charter for Clients of Psychologists, which outlines standards for confidentiality and ethics. |
