Alcohol abuse has wide ranging effects upon the person directly using the alcohol and usually upon several others closely related. Their lives too are affected by Alcohol, perhaps most deeply if they are children. Kaye has worked with many people over the years who have grown up in households where alcohol was over-used and where the home became a difficult one for a child to cope in.
Kaye has also worked with many adults who wish to reduce their alcohol intake, i.e. to stop their own alcohol abuse. This may be to establish a better relationship or to create an improved environment for their children to grow up in.
That which is modelled to children becomes powerful in their lives. It can be very constructive to find ways to move beyond the over-use of substances such as Alcohol, as well as Smoking, soft drinks, and junk food.
